One killed in south Denver traffic crash

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in south Denver, according to police.

The crash happened at the intersection of South University and Buchtel boulevards, police said in a statement at 2:45 a.m.

One driver died at the scene; the other was seriously injured.
